Whether you’re seeking support as an individual, couple, or family, our hourly rates remain the same, reflecting the consistent care, time, and expertise we dedicate to every session.

Session Duration & Prorated Fees
At Listening Ear Counselling & Consultancy, session lengths are tailored collaboratively based on your needs.
Sessions are generally scheduled in 60-minute blocks, though some may naturally conclude earlier when the work feels safely complete. Fees are based on the reserved time, not the exact duration, as preparation and post-session review are also part of the professional process.
Some sessions such as first appointments, family therapy, couples therapy, trauma processing, or marathon sessions may require more time to ensure depth, safety, and meaningful progress.
When more time is needed, sessions can be extended in 30-minute increments, prorated by time and mutually agreed before or during the session.
For example, many clients opt for 90-minute sessions to work with greater depth and safety, and the rate for these works out to SGD 375 (in-person) or SGD 300 (Zoom, via the Advance PayNow Preferred Rate when applicable), calculated by time.
This flexible approach ensures you receive the care and attention you need without feeling rushed, and always decided together in advance, reflecting the consistent care, time, and expertise we dedicate to every session.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Life can be unpredictable, and we understand that plans may change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to respect your time, the therapist’s preparation, and the needs of other clients who may be waiting for an appointment.
- You can reschedule or cancel your session without any penalty if you provide at least 36 hours’ notice.
- This advance notice allows us to offer your slot to another client in need.
- Refund Policy: For cancellations made with more than 36 hours’ notice, a full refund will be provided upon request. Alternatively, the session can be rescheduled at your convenience
- If you cancel or reschedule within 36 hours of your session or do not show up, the full session investment will be charged.
- This is because late changes or no-shows prevent other clients from accessing timely support.
- Refund Policy: No refunds are provided for late cancellations or no-shows. However, in exceptional circumstances, we may consider offering partial refunds or rescheduling.
- We understand that emergencies can happen. If you experience an unavoidable or urgent situation, please reach out to us as soon as possible to discuss alternatives.
- In such cases, we may waive the late cancellation fee or provide a refund at our discretion.
- To ensure fairness and value, if you are unable to attend a session and provide short notice, you can choose to gift your session to a family member or friend who may benefit.
- This option helps to maintain respect for both your time and ours.
